asian protein bowls
I am sharing this recipe today in honor of Wok Wednesday! I have a special freebie coming your way soon along with tips on how I plan out our meals for the week – that will also explain more about what Wok Wednesday is lol!
This recipe is hands down one of Steve’s favorites! It is also VERY adaptable to whatever you have on hand as well as any diet restrictions you may have.
First off, you can use any protein you have OR you can omit to make it vegetarian. Speaking of veggies – you can also use whatever is in the fridge!! You can also leave off the rice to make this dish whole 30. Just use the sauce and garnish anyway you like it!
Helping construct each bowl is a fun way for others to get involved in the kitchen! I know during quarantine it can seem like all you do is cook – so enlist the help of your spouse or kiddos. It is fun to see how each bowl turns out differently! Adding fresh herbs and sriracha (only if you enjoy spicy) at the end really adds another element of flavor to this already fabulous dish!!
