FREEbie alert!! I am sharing these two nature activities in honor of Earth Day!
The first is a Colors of Nature Treasure Hunt to encourage your littles to explore and find unique treasures in nature. This is fun! Especially for toddlers learning their colors. You can also use it to help them learn the color order of a rainbow! The possibilities are endless.
The next is a Nature Crown Scavenger Hunt! The idea is to scavenge for certain items and when all are collected, you will create a wonderful nature crown with them. We used a piece of construction paper and tape to form a crown. Once we found all of our goodies, we taped them on the crown. We then experimented with a few of the items we found. It made for a very special morning exploring in our own backyard!
