“What you don’t know could fill a book!” –Junior Soprano Or in my case… a blog
I am Ashley of Ask Ash Mash! I currently reside in Wayne, PA with my husband, Stephen and our two kids Michael Vito and Stella Lynne. I spend most of my days with my family – mothering, designing, organizing, creating new recipes and scheming my next DIY project! My creative ventures stem from a degree in Interior Design and Architecture as well as my professional background (pre kiddos).
design
My friends reach out to me for design advice all the time – whether it is home decor, renovating or party planning – I am your girl! I have this innate ability to NOT be able to buy anything and leave it as is! I think it drives my husband nuts BUT in the end he agrees it looks WAY better. Part of my reason for doing this is we are on a BUDGET! But who isn’t?! So I usually have to hack something into looking sophisticated.
food
Being the sister of a chef has helped me learn a thing or two in the kitchen! (Thanks CHASE). I create beautiful looking dishes and share them on instagram and am consistently ASKed for the recipes with no proper way to share it. I am excited to finally be able to share them here! I love taking recipes and adding my own flare by making them quick and easy for the whole family. An added bonus is ALL of my recipes are gluten free!
motherhood
Mothering my two kiddos is obviously my top priority and I try to do that with a little bit of flare as well. We do creative projects to keep them busy while also fulfilling my desire to design. We go on extreme nature hunts, plan extravagant parties for 4, create rocket ships out of cardboard and SO much more. Most of motherhood is just winging-it – so think outside of the box!
I guess you are starting to see why everyone ‘Asks’ Ash Mash when they need something?! I am hoping to inspire you to add a bit of flare + sophistication to your everyday life! Don’t hesitate to reach out to me for advice on life as a mother, planner, designer, cook or whatever hat you are wearing that day. In turn, I hope we can “fill a blog” together!
love, ask ash mash
