DIY spooky boho wreath
This spooky boho wreath was a fun one!! I am going to walk you through how I made it BUT if DIY isn’t your thing, I am selling it in my etsy shop so how easy is that!?
I was originally going to use a grapevine wreath I already had BUT when I saw this wispy grapevine wreath — I knew it had to be the backdrop for my spooky wreath. I used two maple leaf stems and opted to alternate colors to give the base layer some dimension. I detached the leaves from the large part of the stem and used the wire eye hooks on the wreath to attach them. I couldn’t have a boho wreath without some flowers, so I added 3 blooms from this dahlia bush on the lower left side. I used the same method as the leaves to secure them to the wreath. The floral bunch is my focal point of the wreath, so I hot glued a foam skull to it and added some black, glittery fern leaves to create visual interest. Then, I snuck in a few more black floral blooms to give off the Halloween vibes and glued two pumpkins on the opposite side to create balance. Lastly, I hot glued some glittery spiders because how would it be spooky without spiders?!?!
Everything I used is linked below on my shop style account. Tag me if you make one! Can’t wait to see your creation. #askashmash
